Who we are

Information you send us

When you use the contact form, email us, call or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the information you choose to share:

• your name, email address and phone number;
• whether you prefer WhatsApp;
• your description of what happened, which can include details about the accident and your injuries;
• how you found us, if you answer that question.

We use this information to reply to you and to review your situation. Sending a message does not by itself make us your representative. We treat what you send as confidential and share it only as described on this page or with your consent.

Website analytics and cookies

We use two analytics tools to understand how people use the site and to improve it:

• Google Analytics 4 (Google) counts visits and shows which pages are viewed, the type of device and browser, the approximate location (city or country) and actions such as tapping the call button or sending the form.
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) shows how visitors scroll and click, including anonymized recordings of visits. Text typed into form fields is masked in these recordings.

These tools use cookies or similar technologies. They do not tell us who you are. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies on this site, and we do not sell personal information.

Who else receives information

• FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) delivers messages from the contact form to our email.
• Microsoft 365 hosts our email.
• Google and Microsoft process analytics data, as described above.
• WhatsApp (Meta) carries messages if you choose to contact us that way.
• Netlify hosts this website and keeps standard technical logs.

Some of these providers process data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible under local law.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and to meet our professional record-keeping obligations. Analytics data is kept for a limited period set in each analytics tool.

Your choices

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.
• You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to naira@vialegal.ca.
• If you have a concern we have not resolved, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
